Mother's are more then a roof over your head, They are the last face you see before you go to bed, Mother's are more then dinner on a plate, They are the people that sit up with you till late, Mother's are more then a nurse when your ill, They are the person to take you over life's hill, It feels like their the only person that can comfort you one they are gone, But that's not true, friends and family will help you move on, You may feel like you cannot go on without her in your life, But you have gone from being a daughter, to also being a wife, Is this not what she taught you? To be firm and strong, It is okay to feel sad, it is not wrong. Your mother will be remembered not only through photographs, But through the tears, the joy and all of the laughs, A mother's love is not defined by the things that she did, But by who we become, the person grown to adult from kid, The pain will ease, it will take more than a day, Just know I am sending my love, no more can I say. - written by Jody Cook
